Educational Qualification:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Professional qualifications like CA, Cost Accountant, Engineer, or Medical degrees are also eligible.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (as listed under the Second Schedule of the RBI).
- Experience in NBFCs, Cooperative Banks, Small Finance Banks, Payment Banks, or Fintechs will not be considered.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years

💬 Language Proficiency
Applicants must be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying to. Those who haven’t studied the language at the 10th or 12th level will need to clear a Language Proficiency Test.

🧠 Psychometric Test
Shortlisted candidates will also undergo a psychometric assessment to evaluate alignment with the bank’s core values and sales orientation.
📋 Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Local Bank Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Acquiring new customers for CASA, loans, and digital products.
- Conducting field visits and sales activities.
- Acting as Relationship Manager for acquired customers.
- Cross-selling products like debit/credit cards, insurance, etc.
- Achieving sales targets.
- Complying with KYC/AML norms and ensuring customer satisfaction.
🏦 Salary / Pay Scale
Initial Basic Pay: ₹48,480 – ₹85,920 (as per the JMG/S-I pay scale)
Eligible candidates will also receive an advance increment based on prior experience.
📍 Posting Location
Selected candidates will be posted in the applied state for the first 12 years, after which they may be transferred anywhere in India.
