- Radar Coverage: All major air routes over the Indian landmass are covered by radar through 29 radar installations across 11 strategic locations.
- VOR/DVOR & DME Systems: There are 89 VOR/DVOR units, most of which are paired with 90 Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) systems for accurate navigation.
- ILS & Night Landing: 52 runways are equipped with Instrument Landing Systems (ILS) along with night landing facilities at most major airports.
- Automated Communication: 15 airports are equipped with an Automatic Message Switching System to enhance safety and coordination.
